Planning is valuable. Preparation is responsible. Wisdom encourages us to think before acting.
But preparation can eventually become a hiding place.
Ecclesiastes 11:4 describes someone so focused on the wind and clouds that planting never happens.
We can do the same thing. We research but never launch. Plan but never begin.
Talk about the dream but never create the first version.
Pray for direction while refusing to move on the direction we’ve already received.
Faith doesn’t require irresponsible decisions. But it does require movement.
Ask yourself:
What information do I genuinely still need—and what am I using as an excuse to delay?
You don’t need ideal circumstances to make meaningful progress.
Sometimes the next breakthrough begins with an imperfect first step.
