Scripture: Luke 16:10 : “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”

Faithfulness in small matters reflects faithfulness in larger ones; dishonesty also carries across them. Read KJV.

A small task can reveal how we handle trust. Do we return what we borrow, keep an agreed time, and report a mistake honestly? Luke 16:10 appears in Jesus’ teaching about stewardship, including the use of wealth. It brings character into the details people may overlook.

Consider a responsibility that feels too ordinary to deserve attention. Completing it carefully can serve someone who depends on you. A clear answer, an accurate record, or a kept promise may have greater value than you realize.

Choose one small matter to handle faithfully today. If you cannot keep a commitment, communicate promptly and truthfully. If you notice an error, correct it. Faithfulness deserves practice because it is good and loving, regardless of whether it leads to a larger opportunity. Let integrity become visible in the work already entrusted to you.
