Not every good opportunity is the right opportunity.

Maturity requires learning the difference between what is available and what is aligned.

Discernment helps you recognize what deserves your yes, what requires a no, and what needs a not yet.

You don’t need to chase every open door. Every opportunity doesn’t deserve access to your energy.
Discernment knows that an open door isn’t automatically your door.  Some things can look good and still pull you away from what matters most.

Philippians talks about growing in knowledge and judgment so that we can recognize what is excellent.

That requires discernment.

Before automatically saying yes, ask:

Does this align with my values?

Does it support what God has entrusted to me?

What will this yes require me to say no to?

Wisdom isn’t merely knowing what you can do.

Sometimes wisdom is recognizing what you shouldn’t do. Protect your yes. Ask God for discernment today.
How do you know which opportunities deserve your yes? Philippians 1:9–10 provides biblical insight into discernment, wise decisions and recognizing what truly deserves your time and attention.
Discernment protects purpose. Available ≠ Assigned.

You don’t have to accept every invitation, opportunity or request.

Which is harder for you?

A. Saying yes to the right opportunity
B. Saying no to the wrong one

Protect your YES. 💚
