Scripture: Hebrews 4:15: For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus, our high priest, sympathizes with human weakness and has faced temptation without sin. Read KJV.

It can be difficult to ask for help when you think your struggle will be met with distance or disappointment. Hebrews 4:15 presents Jesus as a high priest who understands human weakness. His sympathy is joined to His sinlessness, giving believers confidence in the One to whom they come.

Bring a specific struggle to Him today. Name the temptation to speak harshly, hide a mistake, or seek comfort in a harmful habit. Ask for help at the point where the choice is made. Prayer can become part of a practical response: leaving a situation, contacting a trusted person, or removing an easy opportunity for harm.

You are invited into an honest relationship with Jesus. Read the passage in its surrounding paragraph and let it encourage a direct appeal for grace. His understanding gives you reason to seek help before a difficult moment becomes a careless decision.
