Most people can describe what they value. The harder question is whether those values consistently influence their decisions. Micah 6:8 gives us an uncomplicated but challenging description of faithful living: do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. Integrity develops when beliefs and behavior increasingly agree.

That doesn’t mean we’ll never fail. It means we’re willing to examine the distance between the people we say we want to become and the choices we’re actually making. Character is developed in ordinary moments. Tell the truth when dishonesty would be easier. Show mercy without becoming naïve. Treat people respectfully regardless of their status. Keep commitments. Admit mistakes. Choose humility when your ego wants the final word.

Faith becomes particularly powerful when people can see its influence without needing to hear us announce it. Live what you believe.
